Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) and drainage management are vital considerations in maintaining and developing today’s environments. At Amazi our purpose is to assess and provide practical solutions for all your water management needs.

Founded in January 2010 by Chartered Civil Engineer Leigh Parratt BEng(Hons) CEng MICE CWEM MCIWEM PCHEP FHEA we have expertise:

  • All types of sites/development: residential, commercial, industrial, reservoirs, unusual developments etc.
  • All sizes of sites:  from 2,000 home development to a single existing dwelling
  • Across: East Anglia, the Midlands and the Southern counties
  • Planning applications, flood assessment/modelling, drainage problem solving, SuDS design, foul water assessments, etc..

Leigh has been working as a Civil Engineer in the field of water since 1997.

She has provided expert evidence in flood matters, including presenting cases to Rt Hon David Cameron and planning inspectors, and worked as the hydrologist on a High Court planning case.  Other work includes providing seminars on UK flood management to the Ministry of Water, China. She has also worked (in the evening!) as a Hydraulics lecturer and external examiner.
